Happy Memorial Day

   While I wish that I could still be helping those in Alabama, this morning I was glad to wake up in my bed! We arrived back home around 10:00pm last night. There aren't enough words in the dictionary to describe our trip to Alabama, while the circumstances were less than ideal, we all had an excellent time.

   The people of Alabama were some of the nicest people I've ever met. From just running into someone at the gas station to even going over to someone's house for dinner. Everyone that we came into contact with while we were there were extremely thankful for all we were doing and excited to see God working through us. I plan to make many future trips back to Alabama.

   As I had said in a previous post I thought this weekend would be a great way to spend Memorial Day weekend, and boy was I right! The images of the storm damaged areas and the memories of the people we were able to help will be memories that I cherish for many years.

   Happy Memorial Day.. remember all of our fallen veterans, our active Military, and our Law Enforcement!
